Testimonials

I am very grateful for the support that I received from the Jeffress Trust to improve my riding and knowledge. I'd like to thank the trustees for the flexibility that was granted during lockdown as this enabled me to access online workshops and riding at 3 different venues. My personal circumstances were very challenging during the period of the scholarship and the riding lessons in particular made a very positive contribution to my physical and mental health.

I am so grateful to the Trust for supporting my development as a coach and as a rider. The training programme gave me the confidence to re-take and pass my Stage 4 Riding exam. The whole experience and individual mentoring have undoubtedly taken my own coaching style, approach and knowledge to the next level. Thank you so much.

Funding and support from the Jeffress Scholarship Trust has enabled me to access training towards my BHS stage 4 exams that I would not have otherwise been able to fund. Due to this training, I felt confident that I was fully prepared for each exam and this evidently had a positive impact upon my results. The Trust was very accommodating when Covid interrupted both training and exam timetables and have supported me through my BHS exam journey.
